Rear extension to a traditional cottage in Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow. The groundfloor extension was designed as
U-shaped around the existing double storey return. The kitchen / dining area protrudes further and is accentuated with a glass - bay. The capping of the ground floor extension is a folded sheet metal.

The side extension is visible to the front and built in trational style to match the existing cottage style.


The garden was extensively landscaped

Flat roof above the ground floor extension with green roof top. small plants grow in the special substrate. The green roof gives nature back the space the building uses and is a visual continuation of the landscape visible from the first floor master bedroom.
