Semi-detached estate house, characteristic for the area, 2 storey side extension in matching style, new double glazed timber windows throughout. Side extension of front roof with salvaged tiles from rear to achieve continuiity. Side and rear roof with new tiles to match.

Single storey L-shaped rear extension with large open plan kitchen - dining - living area. The low pitch zinc roof slopes down away from the rear wall of the main house and then rises towards the rear end of the extension. The materials are a mix of zinc, cedar cladding (treated) and large format glazed elements with aluminium clad timber profiles.

Open plan kitchen - dining extension: all sides of the extension towards the garden are wrapped with large format glazed sliding elements. 4 large rooflights further flood the space with natural light. The tiled floor is fitted with underfloor heating.

Continuity from the front door to the garden. By widening the space in the hall and introducing glazed french doors from the hall to the kitchen, a welcoming visual link is created between the front door and the rear garden.
